Steve Zadrick - Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Stephen A. Zadrick is Founder and CEO of Developer Capital Solutions LLC. For the second year in a row he was recognized as one of Builder and Developer Magazine's Who's Who in the Building Industry (Jan 2005 & 2004), and was listed in Florida International Magazine's People edition titled Power Players: 100 A-List Floridians (April 2005) where he was included as an Innovator: People Who Use Originality to Reinvent the Status Quo.
The International Real Estate Trade Organization awarded Developer Capital Solutions and Mr. Zadrick Financing Idea of the Year in 2005 and the Chairman of the BIS awarded Developer Capital Solutions the International Business Innovation award for its efforts in forming SourceChina. SourceChina was also presented with the Golden Sourcing award at the CIHAF conference in Shanghai China by IRETO. SourceChina, of which Mr. Zadrick serves as Chairman of the Board, is a joint venture for sourcing Chinese vendors for all industries (specializing in the real estate industry). Source China was presented with the 2006 China Housing Industry Contribution Award, Golden International Partnership at the CIEHI conference in Beijing China by the Ministry of Construction of the Peoples Republic of China.
Mr. Zadrick is an Urban Land Institute Member (www.uli.org) and is also a member of the National Association of Home Builders (www.nahb.org), the Building Industry Association (www.biasc.org), the National Sales & Marketing Council and the National Council of the Housing Industry.
Through Developer Capital Solutions, Mr. Zadrick has founded, incubated and launched various startup companies including Source China, AllProof Precision Homes and One-Stop Media. One-Stop Media (www.one-stopmedia.com) is a one-stop shop for real estate developers providing strategic media planning and placement services including online lead generation. Source-China.com is the real estate developer's sourcing solution, providing developers with direct sourcing access into China. AllProof Precision Homes delivers the top international housing system solution combined with total turnkey quality homes.
As an independent consultant Mr. Zadrick then went on to become one of the first to organize a substantial corporate real estate trade, a multiple property Real Estate media barter contracts with Citicorp (Bank) Worldwide totaling approximately eight figures. This transaction, exchanging prime commercial real estate for media for use in funding the companies Visa and MasterCard spot radio and television advertising budgets, was the beginning of an industry trend. In 1992 the first project of this transaction (a property in Washington DC) was featured on the cover of Barter News as "Real Estate: Barter's Newest Venue".
In 1999 Mr. Zadrick, as co-CEO and Founder, incubated an 'in kind' media-based venture capital fund that closed-out in 2001 following the fall of the tech stock surge. Mr. Zadrick then went on to personally bankroll yet another new corporate barter company in 2001. The company officially became known as IGT Corporate Services, where Mr. Zadrick served as co-CEO. Their list of clients included Avon, Microsoft, SuperClubs Resorts, Allegro Resorts, Herbalife, Damiani Jewelry and many others. In December 2003 Mr. Zadrick left to form Developer Capital Solutions LLC.
Steve resides "on the road" between Developer Capital Soultions' various offices and clients, his horse ranch in Ocala, Florida, his apartment in Prague, Czech Republic, in Eastern Europe and his New York City office.
Michael N. Hering - President
As an accomplished entrepreneur for over three decades Michael has always had a keen eye for cutting edge companies for whom innovation is the rule, not the exception. He has founded and built numerous companies that are going concerns today in the areas of travel, media, publishing, auctioning, marketing, sourcing and more recently real estate finance and from there real estate development services through his investment and participation in Developer Capital Solutions LLC.
Born in New York Michael founded his flagship company Magical Holidays Inc. in 1981, a specialty tour operation which has been responsible for the sale of hundreds of millions of dollars in travel products over its tenure. Still headquartered in the same physical location after 25 years in operation, Magical Holidays Inc. has a broad reach throughout the industry via a wide range of subsidiary companies that specialize in Non-Profit and Specialty Travel, Cruises, Tour Programs and Auctioning Travel via the Internet. Combined, Michaels various travel related companies (SkyAuction.com, Magical Holidays Inc., Intermissions, World InService Inc., and Springfield Travel Inc.) produce some $400 million dollars in annual travel sales.
Thinking strategically in order to expand his reach beyond travel, Michael created Virtual Internet Group LLC, to explore and secure partnership relationships in various industries where he could leverage his expertise in the creation of Internet based marketing initiatives as well as technology distribution systems. That plan led to the creation of several organizations with powerful synergies attracting some of the major operating companies in each of the concentrated segments. For example, Virtual Internet Group shares ownership in its publishing endeavors with The Miami Herald and NatCom Marketing Communications (Wave Magazine). And in turn these companies have teamed with Genmar Holdings, one of the world's largest boat manufactures, to create what is the premier e-commerce auction portal for boats on the Internet. (WaveLife.com) In the area of media Michael has centralized the purchasing of print, video, outdoor and online advertising, marketed primarily to the travel and real estate industry in conjunction with Sky Radio Corp., Affluent Media Inc. and One-Stop Media.
Over the past ten years, Michael has progressively become involved operationally in a field that has long been a passion for him, real estate. Owning many properties in different US and foreign locations, Michael has become one of the founders of the most innovative real estate boutique financing house, Developer Capital Solutions. Additionally, he is an owner in three of Developer Capital Solutions' preferred vendor companies, Madison International Venture Partners, Source China and One-Stop Media. One-Stop Media is a one-stop shop for real estate developers for media research, planning, placement, trafficking and post-analysis. Michael currently lives in New Jersey with his wife and three children.
Michael Miller - V.P. Operations
As Executive Vice President of Operations, Michael Miller has been directly involved with the formation and growth of Developer Capital Solutions LLC since its inception. With over twenty years experience in the fields of sales, marketing and real estate, Michael has worked with individuals ranging from C-level executives of Fortune 500 companies to those in the fashion and entertainment world. Michael has collaborated with Developer Capital Soultions' CEO Stephen Zadrick on a full array of projects spanning the last 15 years, some of which included venture capital funding and acquisitions, entertainment management and television production. He is considered the glue that keeps Developer Capital Solutions focused and together.
A graduate of the University of Central Florida with a major in Organizational Communications, Michael actively pursues continuing educational opportunities ranging from one-day management seminars to multi-day training retreats.
Michael utilizes his time outside work to focus on his family and community. He resides in Ocala Florida where he is in his second term on the Board of Directors at Grace Episcopal School, is Chairman of the school s Annual Fund, is involved with his church's Children's ministry and enjoys canoeing, mountain biking, camping and hiking with his family and friends.
Andrew Young - Senior V.P.
Andrew Young is the Senior Vice President at Developer Capital Solutions, in charge of developing Developer Capital Solutions s real estate client base and passing on his knowledge of their various creative financing programs. Andrew shares responsibility for developing and closing over $100 million of multi-family and master planned community real estate financing transactions over the last four years alone. He has been a foremost authority in the development and implementation of Developer Capital Solutions' ever expanding list of services.
More recently he has concentrated his efforts on becoming highly involved in contractual issues and negotiations on behalf of the company and works closely with Matt Zifrony (General Counsel) to review and revise Developer Capital Solutions' Real Estate Investment Agreements to meet the needs of both clients and investors.
Andrew has also become highly competent in the financial analysis of investment opportunities and has made use of various tools to review and dissect each opportunity enabling him to present that opportunity in a clear and concise manor to senior management personnel.
Mr. Young is an active member of NAHB (National Association of Homebuilders) and a member of the ULI (Urban Land Institute).
A native of England, Andrew spent his childhood being educated at Royal College in Newcastle upon Tyne, the North East of the country. He completed his higher education at an early age and went on to embark on an extremely successful career in the fashion industry.
During these months and years Andrew lived and worked in most of the major cities of the world including, London, Paris, Milan, New York, Tokyo, Sydney, Soul, Hong Kong and Hamburg to name but a few. Whilst in these various countries Andrew secured lucrative contracts with many of the major fashion houses including Prada, Louis Vuitton, Hugo Boss, Burberry, Donna Karen, Fendi and Jil Sander amongst many others. He had the privilege of experiencing many different cultures and working with many high profile names within the industry at an early age.
After living in New York City for 3 years Andrew made the move to Miami, Florida in 2003 where he met Steve Zadrick. He began his relationship by communicating with various C level executives on their behalf, at some of the countries top corporations, which led to the execution of numerous agreements.
Andrew has always had a passion for music; his father is a classical composer and conductor and spent time training him in classical Piano and Viola form a young age.
Andrew's additional interests include animals, growing up owning two horses that he competed with in various local and national events, and boating, sports, playing soccer and windsurfing.
Matthew Zifrony - Corporate Counsel
Matthew Zifrony,
a director of Tripp Scott, provides strategic counsel for corporate
contractual and transactional issues. He also provides property
financing and transaction counsel to buyers, sellers, lenders and
developers of residential and commercial real estate.
Zifrony, who joined Tripp Scott in 1991, served as general counsel
for a large corporation, represented Broward County in acquiring
the land for the National Car Rental Center and served as counsel
for the Florida Marlins. In addition, Zifrony is the president
of one of the largest homeowners associations in Broward County
and represents numerous condominium and homeowners associations
in the tri-county area, providing counsel on such issues as collections,
rules enforcement, contractual review and association documents.
Actively involved with community organizations, Zifrony is a member
of the Salvation Army Advisory Board, and the Jewish Federation
of Broward County. He is a past board member of NACORE and the
Community Association Institute, and a graduate of Leadership Fort
Lauderdale.
Zifrony holds a law degree with honors from the University of
Florida School of Law and a bachelor’s degree with honors
from the University of Florida’s School of Business Administration.
