This coming year Developer Capital Solutions is set to take the National Association of Home Builders International Builders show by storm. As a result of our sustaining sponsorship and support of NAHB Developer Capital Solutions has been given a prime position in the show exhibit hall to display its 25 x 30 two story booth (S11012). With this explosion in the shear volume of transactions it is an opportune time for condo converters to have their own national symposium for education and networking with their peers, clients and vendors. At IMN's Inaugural Condo Conversions Conference, IMN addressed the changing macroeconomics, demographics and financing trends of this industry as well as key issues such as 2nd tier markets, evaluating market feasibility and low income conversions.  Steve Zadrick moderated the January 2006 International Builder's Show (IBS) panel "So You Want To Be a Mulitfamily Developer" panel, which had a SRO audience and was one of the most popular panel presentations at the conference. Six of Centerpoint's preferred vendors joined Zadrick on the panel to discuss condominium development from entitlements through marketing and sell-out.
Steve Zadrick spoke on the round table "Mezzanine Loan Investors Roundtable" at the May 17, 2006 Information Management Network "West Coast Borrowers' and Investors' Forum on Real Estate Mezzanine Loans." The roundtable discussion focused on which types of investors are active in the mezzanine market, how mezzanine loans compare with other fixed-income investments on the risk/return scale and why companies are inveting in the secondary market for mezzanine loans.
At the May 22-23, 2006 Information Management Network "Financing, Developing and Operating Condo Hotels" conference in Hollywood, FL, Steve Zadrick participated on the panel "Real Estate Macroeconomics, its Impact on the Condo Hotel Market." The discussion points included the outlook of funding from mortgage bankers and wall street, market supply and oversupply and construction costs impact on market pricing. Centerpoint also arranged for Dr. David Keimach from Centerpoint preferred vendor company, Madison International, to speak on a panel titled "Strategies & Technologies to Maximize Your Condo Hotel Room Sales."
Steve Zadrick helped kick off the Urban Land Institute's (ULI) "Developing Master-Planned Communities" conference held at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas on June 8 and 9. Zadrick was invited by ULI to introduce one of the opening educational sessions, "New Markets: New Methods," a panel discussion focusing on globalization's impact on the housing market.

Steve Zadrick will lead a panel discussion on September 21, 2006 at the Multi-Housing World conference in Chicago, an event hosted by Multi-Housing News magazine. Zadrick's panel, titled "Avoiding Mistakes: Learning from Projects Gone Wrong," will offer realistic and practical strategies for anticipating and dealing with both the expected and unexpected obstacles along the path to residential high-rise development success.
Centerpoint will develop and lead a panel presentation at CIHAF Shanghai - The 8th International Property Fair and Forum on November 10-12, 2006 in Shanghai, China. CIHAF is China's largest real estate and architecture fair and presents an excellent platform to establish international connections, create new financing channels, discuss investment strategy and much more.
At the Building Industry Show (BIS) hosted by the Building Industry Association of Southern California, Steve Zadrick has been selected to lead two panel discussions. The first, "BAM! Cooking up the Recipe for Successful Condo-Development," will feature several of Centerpoint's preferred vendors in a discussion focusing on forming the kind of development team that leads to success.
